What we do
Repairs done in your driveway, not our bay.
Most jobs that a shop does on a lift, we can do on the ground with the right equipment. If a repair genuinely needs a rack, we'll tell you before we start — not after you've paid a diagnostic fee.
No-start & electrical
Batteries, alternators, starters, grounds, parasitic draws, and wiring faults. The most common Houston no-start is heat-soaked battery failure — we test under load and replace on the spot if that's the answer.
Brakes & suspension
Pads, rotors, calipers, brake fluid, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, control arms, and struts. We torque to spec and road-test the vehicle before we hand back the keys.
Diesel repair & maintenance
Injectors, fuel filters and water separators, glow plugs, EGR and DPF-related faults, turbo actuator issues, and DEF system diagnostics. We work on 6.6L, 6.7L, and 5.9L platforms regularly.
Cooling systems
Radiators, water pumps, thermostats, hoses, and pressure testing. Houston summer traffic is brutal on cooling systems — if your temperature gauge is climbing at idle, call before it becomes a head gasket.
Oil, fluids & scheduled service
Full synthetic oil changes, transmission and differential fluid, power steering, and coolant flushes — done in your parking spot at home or at the office, on your schedule, not a shop's queue.
Pre-purchase inspections

Houston Mobile Mechanic & Diesel Repair LLC runs out of 3105 Norfolk St in the Greenway / Upper Kirby area, and we cover the whole city from there — the Heights to Pearland, Katy to Pasadena, plus the Beltway and every freeway in between.
The business was built around a simple frustration: a car that won't start shouldn't cost you a tow and a shop bill and three days without a vehicle. When the work can be done where the vehicle sits, there's no reason to move it. That's most of what we do.
We're a licensed and insured Texas operation, we quote the job before we start it, and we don't sell repairs you don't need. If a problem is something you can safely live with for a few weeks, we'll say so.
How a call usually goes
1. You call and describe what the vehicle is doing — noise, warning light, no-start, leak, or a smell you can't place.
2. We ask for the year, make, model, engine, and where the vehicle is parked. That tells us which tools and parts to load.
3. We give you a window and a price range for the diagnosis. No surprise line items later.
4. We show up, confirm the fault, quote the repair, and get your approval before any parts come out of the truck.
